The Victims: Bevin, John
The Damage: Unknown
Ocassionally, I write a great review, only to accidentally click some mysterious button on this page that I swear is an Easter Egg of some sort and I lose EVERYTHING. This is what happened to my review of The Easton. So you will forgive me if this review is short and to the point.
I love The Easton. I love the windows, which must face west-ish because the light is great. The Easton is on a corner, so lots and lots of windows.
I love the decor, which is somewhat bare bones but comfortable. Good sturdy furniture. Cool wallpaper down the end of the room. We ordered our food from the bar–or should I say Bevin ordered–Mushroom and Leek pie for me (I love leeks), the sirloin for Bevin, and the cod for John.
John cleaned his plate sparkling clean. It looked delicious (the cod, not his plate). Lots of veggies and potatoes too. My pie was very very very yummy–and it was accompanied by what perhaps is one of my favorite things in the entire world–a sweet potato! You just don’t find them here like you do in my country. Bevin’s sirloin looked a bit too pink for me, but delicious nonetheless. All the veggies looked and tasted very very fresh. Good stuff.
The Verdict: I want to go back tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. And then I want to move across the street from The Easton so I can go there every day.
