I’m heading to Florida to visit the family for a few days. It’s my first Thanksgiving with my family since 2003! To say I’m excited is an understatement. Lucky for me, I booked my tickets ages ago, before the Thanksgiving flight craziness began, and I was able to catch a cheap flight on United Airlines. (My US airline of choice. Yes. I am a frequent flyer mile whore.)
I’m looking forward to lots of turkey and stuffing and green bean casserole. (I’m responsible for the casserole.) Ah, and sweet potato anything. I do love me some sweet potatoes. Maybe I’ll even make my cookies. It will be a good time. (Except for the cranberries. I will not be having a good time with the cranberries.)
I’m very sad though to be missing the Thanksgiving Extravaganza in London, hosted by my friends Lee and Anna, where I’ve spent every one of the last six Thanksgivings, but maybe next year..

Happy Thanksgiving Krista! I am spending my Thanksgiving having a special egg dinner at Mark Hix – weird! Great that you have found Grubwithus – hope settling in is going ok and I remain jealous of your pristine kitchen.
