The Damage: About £65 each
The Background: Everyone has already blogged about Goodman’s. You should go read their posts. And then come back and look at my pictures. (This is where my London Restaurant Blog Search Widget comes in mighty handy.) Oh, and the night I was there? Alice was there too. Hmmm…Do you think bloggers like Goodman?

Here is the menu…
And here is the meat…
We shared some starters…a Caesar salad that was nice but just nice…
And then we had the salmon carpaccio, which was delicious…I could eat a lot of this.
Here is my NY strip steak, served medium rare. I expected–and wanted–more char. But it didn’t stop me from eating it. Sadly, I didn’t take any photos of the creamed spinach. Now that was delicious. Nice chips, too.
Ah, and the cheesecake was GREAT.
And then the bill came and it was large. But luckily, it was split amongst seven. We all paid with British Airways American Express cards. Now that was funny. As you can see, many of us had the NY strip.
The Verdict: I don’t know what all the fuss is about.
HAH! Just kidding.
Goodman is very, well, good.

I was there the same night. 🙂
No way! My booking was at 9 p.m. Alice’s was at 8 p.m. When was yours?
8.30. 🙂
How ridiculous that three of us were there on the same evening – and all coincidentally.
Krista, I agree the strip was just OK, esp for the money. And I loved the creamed spinach, too. My fave starter was the chicken liver-foie gras pate.
Do you all know each other in person?
Very, very nice.
I live for food like this. Ahhh… NY Strip, gorgeous!
Well, speaking for myself – not really. I’ve met Krista in person three times now over the last two years, and she would be the blogger I’ve met the most often.
