Al sent Connie a text saying to meet him at Just St. James. We had no idea what this meant, so we "just" told the cab driver to take us to St. James and we’d figure it out from there. Luckily, he let us off right across the street!
Just is HUGE. And empty at 11 pm on a Saturday night. The ladies room was quite nice and the seating was quite comfortable. It was like a hotel bar. There were some other people there, but they left. The woman at the front desk kept herself busy doing God knows what. There were numerous bar people and service staff but no one to serve?
Al says he goes to Just because it’s "just" always open and you can get a table and hang out no problem. So if I’m in the hood, I’d go here again, "just" for that reason.
The Verdict: Not so great. But no so bad either. And there’s something to be said for always getting a seat.
