So you know I don’t really cook. Hence why you won’t find me stopping by The Ginger Pig all that often, despite the excellent nature of its products. But did you know that March 1st through March 7th is National Pie Week? I figured that the Ginger Pig must have some pies on hand, and heck if I was right!
I asked my server what she’d recommend and she suggested the Chicken and Ham pie. If I were a better blogger, I would have taken a picture of the pie in all its firm deliciousness. But alas, I came straight home and cooked it up and scarfed it down without much of a break in between. (This will be less of a problem with my fantastic new Sony camera phone.) I promised myself I would only eat half of the pie, but I didn’t. I ate all of it. Diet be damned.
I swear I am not being paid to promote National Pie Week, by the way!
(P.S. It strikes me as I’m writing this on Sunday morning–people wonder how much time I spend blogging. I’ve just banged out three posts in 40 minutes and two cups of coffee. I do all my best blogging on Sundays.)
Things I still need to write about…The French place off of Carnaby Street, Market in Camden, Fouronine in Clapham…
