More for me than for you…here's what I need to blog about over the coming week or two…
- Obligatory post about my favorite meals (or maybe just courses) of 2009.
- The California Wine Night I attended with The Wine Sleuth, Wine 90, and Tiki Chris
- My Korean lunch at the restaurant with two names.
- Totally unplanned, I hit Barrica the same day as Supercharz, Greedy Diva, and Teh Bus. Food okay. Service nightmare!
- I finally visited Busaba Eathai. Eh.
- How I plan to learn to cook in 2010.
- Lunch with my cousin at California Grill in Orlando. Yes, that's in Disney World.
- That great little burger and some sweet potato fries at Archie's–a real dive bar–in Fort Pierce, Florida.
- Nice pub lunches at The Red Lion in Marston Magna and The Mitre in Sandford Orcas over New Year's.
- My London dining wish-list for 2010.
There's probably more. But that's more than enough, don't you think? Now do you understand why I did not want to do this over the holidays? Anything else you can think of? Something you want me to take on? I'm running low on ideas here…
P.S. That's Bud Lite Lime in the photo. It's what all the cool kids are drinking in South Florida these days. It was introduced in May of 2008, according to Wikipedia, but I don't remember seeing it last Christmas. This Christmas, it was everywhere. And I'd be lying if I didn't acknowledge that I'm now a sucker for it.

I’ll be interested to see what you have to say about the CA tasting! If you haven’t already, have a look at my post on it. Also good luck with the cooking!
Looking forward to reading what I anticipate will be an amusing review of Barrica from you, Krista! Can’t believe we missed you there. Was too focussed on our black pud sausages I think.
Actually, the REALLY cool kids in SoFLA drink Cigar City! Though I guess Tampa may not BE technically south!
Oh no that beer is a whole new level of wrongness 🙁 Modelo Especial all the way !
Am particularly interested in bullet point #6 – how you’ll learn to cook in 2010.
Do you take requests? I recently moved from Melbourne and every now and then I feel like pizza – where do you find good pizza in London? Apart from Franco Manca where getting a seat is a real challenge… I like your blog and your London top 10 so I trust your advice on this incredibly vital issue. 🙂
Hey fellow American in London 🙂 Great blog. Def going to check out some of your recommendations.

And recommendations for good chicken wings in London by any chance? I come from Buffalo and need to find some!
I'm very bad at this link exchange thing…keep reminding me and I will, I promise, eventually!
